One result of our long-time experience with the development of PLC software for conveyor systems and storage and retrieval vehicles is the large amount of finished or at least easily customisable software modules on stock. With these modules, we can cover all areas of storage techniques up to inventory management and visualisation of the systems.

Part of this wealth of experience concerns our in-house visualisation creation "Topview" that is used for malfunction analysis and monitoring systems on site via a modem or over larger distances. Despite its extensive functionality, Topview permits very lean pricing.
The besecke experience actually speaks for itself: We have put more than 100 pallet handling systems with approximately 300 Programmable Logical Controllers into operation. Among which were more than 80 storage and retrieval vehicles, way more than 1,500 conveying elements - including complex turn tables, angular transfers, horizontal and vertical conveyors. There were also temperature guided systems down to minus 30 degrees Celsius among these.

Our employees are highly qualified and have had long-term experience in their fields of work. More than 50 of the systems worldwide that have been provided by us are being supervised from Bremen per remote diagnostics in the case of malfunctioning. besecke systems are in operation in Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, France, Italy, the USA, Mexico, Poland, Israel, Argentina and naturally also in Germany.

Pertaining to our technical profile are the following details:

• Our software components are standardised for Siemens Simatic S7, S5 and Allen-Bradley Control-Logics.
• We realise computer interfacing through TCP/IP, Profibus, MPI, Controller-Link and serial ports to control systems and inventory management computers.
• We install decentralised systems with all the common field bus systems (Profibus, ASi, Device-Net, Control-Net). There, Siemens ET200, as well as Buskoppler (bus coupler) from Wago, Beckhoff and Phoenix find their application.
• We implement PLC from Siemens, Rockwell and OMRON.
• As displays we use Siemens OPs, TPs, MPs, mobile panels, Lauer PCS, key panels, und panels from diverse other manufacturers.
• We realise interfacing to air lock doors, fire alarm systems, scanners and special equipment.
• We have sophisticated programmes for palletisers, pallet magazines, lifting stations, pallet turners / pile turners, pallet strapping, sorting and picking equipment.
• We control and regulate with sophisticated software modules.
• We plan and develop emergency stop and safety equipment, personal protection and fall protection.
• We install safety light barriers, sensors, roller-end switches, magnetic switches, push switches, transceiver light barriers etc.
• We measure the contours of pallets, at the quiescent operating point and in running operation, and conduct skid and free space checks.
• Naturally we also offer instructions and training for our customers' personnel.
